Pooja Pandey's Review On Dr MC Saxena College Of Engineering And Technology - [MCSCET], Lucknow

I qualified the UPTU entrance examination(UPSEE) with 28600 rank overall in UP and 4000 ranking in Girls category. Being from a family of engineers, my childhood aspiration was to be an engineer so i pursued this course. My father and brother are also in the same occupation so they encouraged me a lot.

Course structure was quite in sync with our main stream. My main subjects were Signals and Systems, Electronics Devices and Circuits, Communication Systems and digital electronics. Environmental Science was also included in 1st year as part of our syllabus so that we can be aware of some flaring issues like global warming.

Unfortunately , our college doesn't provide internship but they are now planning to work in this regard as well .

There is very good opportunity in terms of campus placement in our college. I have been recruited in Denso Ltd. which is a Noida based company. Also some very well reputed companies like Subex, TCS, tata motors , Career Wheels etc. has recruited some gems of our college.

The main cultural fest of our college is Disha which is celebrated annually. The main attraction of this fest is always the most awaited celebrity who is the chief guest of the occasion . Our college has invited some celebrities like Mika Singh , Daler Mehndi and Udit narayana. Dj night is also organised for the students.

The fee structure of our college is quite feasible. They give some fee waiver-ship for the students below poverty line whose family income is less than 1 lakh. The common fee structure is 70000 rs per year in which caution money , Development Charges and University exam fees is included.

In my course of duration i have not opted for any scholarship or loan facility but they provide scholarship for the students who scored the most in semester exams .

Campus life is smooth in terms of discipline and legacy. In our college the count for boys is more than girls but not very much. We have cricket and badminton grounds open for all students. Along with this in our technical and cultural fest , debates and robotics workshops are organised in which interested students can participate.

I have not opted for hostel facility so i can't comment on this section much but as far as i heard about the facilities and mess food from my friends, its very good and hostel rules are very strict where students safety is concerned. In mess also they keep changing the menu every day to avoid monotony.

We had 2 exams scheduled in one semester which is basically 3hrs subjective paper. In practicals we were not given very hectic assignment it all goes out smoothly. and the good thing is that the internal exam pattern is in the same way as it is going to come in external exam so that students can have better understanding and they can score more.

After qualifying UPSEE exam , we were asked for the choices of college. I put this college on 1st ranking of choices. First time when i came to my college i was very much impressed with the infrastructure. We submitted the admission form at the account department along with the admission fees and submitted the required ID proofs and highschool inter marksheets.

The faculty of my college was too supportive and friendly. All the educators were highly qualified and were mastered in their subjects. We had flexibility in asking any questions at any time. they were always available for help. Our HOD was also very supportive and conscious about the college matters and he always makes sure that all the faculty members are doing there work religiously.
