Parul University- Pro's and Con's

Being an NRI I didn't have to do much hassle when it came to admission procedures. Everything was done properly and was very professional. But after coming to India I did face a lot of issues adjusting to the environment and they didn't inform me beforehand about the expenses even though I asked. Anyway, all went well. I am almost at the end of my bachelor's degree and the faculties are very professional and are available at all times.

All the teachers are very professional and qualified from the best Instituite. As mentioned earlier teachers are friendly and are always available when you need them. The faculty: student ratio is 1:40. The term exams are conducted every week and are extremely easy to pass.

The companies that Parul University provides for internships in their own college and few other companies namely l and t , and other local companies. The stipend ranges from 2000+. The projects depend on which company hires you and the tasks range from working on the front end to the backend and so on.

Campus offer limited placements and most of the students have to look for jobs themselves. Parul University being a reputable college job seeking is easier but is still hard. But the university on the other hand provides ample opportunities for internships and stipends ranging from 2000-15000.

The fee for BCA is 74000 for a year. You can avail yourself scholarships and they range from different criteria like obc, sc, st, depending on your family income, NRI, sports, etc. There are ample internship offers with stipends ranging from 2000-15000.

The extracurricular activities and sports work occur every other day. The social groups and clubs ( dance, singing, music, biking, etc) are very active. Overall it's focused on extracurricular activities.

The room is occupied by 2-8 people depending on which hostel you choose. And every hostel includes a cupboard, study table, and a bed. Depending on the hostel you also get a dressing room as your option. As soon as you reach your room you are supplied with basic supplies like that a toothbrush, towel, and other miscellaneous. The registration process is quite simple and the cost is around 40000-120000 depending on your choice of hostel. The quality of the meal is surprisingly good and they provide good 3 times a day. The locality you should be looking at to rent a pg is near vrundavan circle and the rent should be nearly 4000.
