Campus to Corporate - A learning experience.

The admission process in my college went on very smooth. I reached out to the college before my eamcet counselling and the staff were quite welcoming and have given me details about the college. I was looking for a college with good placements, a campus with good facilities and a college near to my house. I was much satisfied with the facilities of the campus and additional coding programs called wise, being zero and smart interview sessions which were a great help for my placement. Also, I was looking for a CSE branch which is why I chose BVRITH.

I was looking for a CSE program from the beginning as my idea was to get into development in IT. That's the reason, I chose CSE. The faculty are highly qualified and are ready to help the students any time in need. They help students not only understanding theoretically but also help us in putting theory into practicals. Students have internal exams which help faculty to review the students. There are two semesters a year with two mid exams every semester as internals. There are internal and external labs every semester same as the examinations. Students will be trained for lab examinations in the daily lab classes which will be a practice to score good marks in the examinations.

The internship opportunities are provided to students around the 4th year while undergoing placements. Before joining the company, the company provides 4-5 months of internship period with a stipend. Students eligible can undergo internships which will be a great help before actually getting into the company. After, the internship for 4-5 months, which was all about learning various languages. After which, with the programming language, we are asked to do an E-Commerce website. We have the repo to approach the team if any.

The students from the fourth year after the first semester are eligible to sit for placements. The various companies have various eligibility criteria regarding cgpa and backlogs. The companies visited are Flipkart, Amazon and many other MNC's and 100+ offers are made this year. The highest package is 26lpa and the average package is around 6.5lpa. The percentage of students getting placements this year is 95%. My plans after undergrad are to take up the job and experiencing industry level exposure.

The fee structure is around 65,000 every year when joined in 2017. The fee is quite affordable. The students having problems paying the fee are free to ask for help from the office. The staff are quite friendly to guide the students on paying the fee in instalments. The placement opportunity starts with internships and mentorship around 3rd year in the second semester which will give us industry exposure. I interned in a start up company TA Digital for around 4-5 months and the stipend was around 10k per month.

Medhanvesh is conducted in the college which includes tech and non-tech events. The students are volunteered for 2 days event and the certificates are handed out to the candidates participating and winning the competitions. The library has a wide variety of books that are always available to the students. Students are open to visit the library any time during college to read or take books home. The classroom has an online teaching facility with a projector and has books of the same semester that can be issued from the cupboard. Sports events are happening in college. The other activities like rakhi making, idol making and poster making are planned for every Saturday post lunch. The tech and non tech clubs on the campus are happening now and then like techblitz club and toastmaster club.
