My experience at IARE. Overall, a good college.

I have applied for the course computer science and engineering in many engineering colleges in Hyderabad. My rank in EAMCET was 8726, so considering the cutoff I got placed in this college (IARE) which I have given in the counselling. My category is General(OC). The closing rank for CSE in IARE in 2019 was around 12000. I got placed in this college with my EAMCET rank.

I am interested in joining Computer science and engineering (CSE) as it has great scope nowadays. I want to become a Software developer, so I have taken the CSE branch. I really admire the faculty in IARE. They are student friendly. We can reach them for help at any time. There are many lecturers in this college who are well qualified. Most of the faculty have their PhD's and I like the teaching methods. Mostly everything goes online in our college. There are two mid exams for each semester and there are two semesters per year. It is not that difficult to pass the exams if we attend classes regularly.

IARE provides internships for students in almost all branches. It has collaborated with Coursera which provides certification for course completion. It has also collaborated with Internshala which will provide several internships for students. There are special internships from companies like Google, Adobe, etc for which college provides training for the students. There are many projects in which we need to complete at least one. The management and faculty will help us with it.

I really appreciate the campus placements in IARE. I have joined this college due to a good number of placements. From the 6th semester itself, we can go for placements. The college will provide training before placements. Many big companies like TCS, Amazon, Infosys, Accenture, etc are recruiting students. A maximum number of students will get placed. We have a chance of 3 semesters to get placed.

The fee for every branch in B.Tech is Rs.90,000. There are state scheme scholarships in which they provide fee reimbursement in Telangana. I think it is quite affordable compared to other best colleges in Hyderabad.

The life at the campus is really cool. There are many clubs in IARE. It has clubs like NSS, streetcause, well wishers foundation, singing club, art club, dancing club, newspaper club, sustainability club, etc. They do celebrate many fests in the college. We have an annual fest(Sanskriti) and a technical fest(Consortium). The library in the college is really big. They almost provide all the course related books. They even provide an e-library. The classrooms are very spacious. They even conduct sports events and extracurricular activities within the college and we can even participate in other colleges.

I have joined the college hostel in my first year where I paid Rs.80,000 for a year. The college hostel is 3km away from the college and they provide buses to travel from hostel to college. The hostel is located in MLRIT(main campus) which is really good. The menu is also okay. They provide breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. But I felt the hostel fee is bit much and joined the private hostel near to the college in Gandimaisamma where I pay Rs.4200 per month.
