Other than Lu, I had applied for BHU ..but I got their seat for MSc computing and statistics so I dropped that course and joined the UNIVERSITY OF LUCKNOW. Here I availed the OBC quota, for that you just have to submit your caste certificate along with your other documents. Well there is no age limit for enrollment, it's Just you should have a bachelor degree with one of your subjects as statistics, and for getting a seat in LU main campus, you have to gain at least 60% marks in the entrance examination. Once your name is shortlisted, you will get a call for counselling, there you have to submit your documents like high school mark sheet, inter mark sheet, caste certificate, aadhaar card and as per requirement [nowadays this process is conducting through online mode].

After every 5 months, there will be semester exams and somewhere in between 5 months, you have to appear in mid semester exams, for mid sem exams, the level of difficulty would be 6 out of 10 and for semester exams it would be like 8 out of 10. And if you're attending regular classes then exams sometimes will feel like a piece of cake.

TCS, Infosys, Jaro education, prism JohnsonJohnson, extra marks, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Pepsi,jio, HCL are some of the top firms that have visited University for final placement. One of the most important internships for us is MOSPI offered by the central ministry of INDIA.

From semester 3, it's 6 to 7 lakhs per annum. Their percentage was average like 75%. I would like to join ISS[ Indian statistical service] or I can go with ASO [assistant statistical officer]. Nowadays there are too many options in the private sector also, you just have to know a little bit of some software like R, SPSS etc.

It's approximately 8000 rs per semester and there are 4 semesters during the whole course, so your aggregate fees would be 32000. And for all these fees you would be rewarded with Uttar Pradesh scholarship [only for residents of UP] and central scholarship [ for every student of India].

There are too many social groups like ABVP, LUconfession, needmyhelp etc. For girls its mission shakti. Even you can tweet your problems , you can talk about them with your professors and in hostels you can talk about anything with your seniors.

I have got a hostel seat, here they give us a fan, a table, a chair, a bed, a tube light and an almirah. The meal quality is quite ok I mean not so bad not so good and the menu of hostel mess is decided by the hostel students so meal menu is all up to you. For registration you have to select the hostel accommodation criteria while filling the form of your entrance exam, they allot hostels according to your rank in the entrance examination. Its fee for 1 year is approximately 45000 rs.
