Not just good, its so good .

I had applied for BHU botany but didn't get enough marks in the entrance exam. No, I didn't avail any quota for admission. There is no age limit for the MSC entrance exam, you just need a bachelor degree in botany. For getting a seat in this programme, you should score at least 70 out of 100, don't worry exam is not that hard. Once you appeared in the exam and are shortlisted in the merit list, you have to submit your documents online for counselling.

I have chosen this because I have an interest in plants as they are the backbone of our mother earth. There are 80% of the students are female and the rest 20% are male in my faculty. In my faculty, 2 professors are from Oxford University and the rest are from LU. Term exams are scheduled after every 5 or 6 months which all are average.

CIMAP, BIOTECH, NBRI and BIOTECH PARK are some firms that visit the University of Lucknow with good packages. Not even a job but they also offer us an internship that makes us sharp and kinda socially active.

My fee is 16440 per year and as you know this course have a total duration of 2 years so your total fee will be 32880. For this course fee, up government provides scholarships for all the students who are residents of up and having family income less than 2 lakhs per year. You can also apply for some other national scholarship.

Cultural events, Dandiya nights, seminars about planting, web seminars all are organised once every 2 or 3 months. There are too many books in our departmental library as well as in TAGORE LIBRARY which is for all the departments. Classes are being smart, they provide a white screen and projector for our assignment and presentation. You can participate in any sport like badminton, chess, cricket etc.

There is a light, fan, bed, table and chair provided to all pg students, every room is single seater that's a good point. The meal is not gold but we can compare it with silver. While filling your application form for the course you just have to choose the hostel accommodation option. It's affordable if you go to the hostel.
