Genuine review from Persuing student

I did apply for b.sc agriculture in Amity University but It was more expensive than Sharda and was located far from my home that's why I did not attend Amity. In Sharda University, there was an entrance exam for admission and also one interview was held during admission process. The eligibility was to be 12th pass out from Science stream (either PCM or PCB). In the counselling, they told us about University, it's achievements, attendance criteria necessary for attending end semester examination that is 75%. Buses are also available from college.

I find out very huge scope in agriculture so that's why I choose this course. The teaching faculty is also good. Maximum teachers are post graduated with their respective subjects. Many times our very honourable Dean prof. HS gaur sir also teachers us some extra knowledge. We have labs for every subject in college. But we rarely had any experiment well performed. We are lacking in practical knowledge. Teacher's are focusing more on theoretical knowledge. There are two semesters in every year. In every semester exams held 2 times. One after 2 months called mid sem exams and another after completion of course called end sem exam. Exams are not too hard to pass.

I just came in 4th year now. From our seniors we heard that they have very good experience at internships, they got lot to learn under big MNC companies. Some seniors decided to study further for post graduation and some start preparing for government job in agriculture sector.

From 4th year, students are eligible for getting placements. Companies like ARMON international private limited, Nova agri tech limited, fieldking, sheel biotech, NCL training and staffing services Pvt. Ltd. Visited last year. Out of our 50 seniors, more than 20 got placed. Average packages are 3-4 lakhs per annum.

My fees is 110000 per year. But we can pay semester vise also. If we do so we need to pay 57,000 per semester. I received 20% scholarship in first year on the bases of my 12th class percentage. There's no space appointed from college for student's vehicle. We have to pay 20 rupees daily for parking our vehicle. There's are many more extra curricular activities which are also paid. Sports is also available. NCC for girls is available.

There's Chorus (annual fest) held in the month of December. There are many libraries available in campus with vast varieties of books. There's Smart class board available in every class. Well furnished benches are available. AC is provided in every class. There's Sharda skills called organization which runs extra curricular activities for students. There are many club run by students. I was in environmental club in first year.
