I chose G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College mainly because of its good placement record and affordability, making it a better deal than all the other colleges. From all the colleges I had applied to, Sri Vidya Niketan in Tirupati was also an option. I avoided Sri Vidya Niketan, though, opting for G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College, not just because of the fee structure but also because of the campus environment it afforded-something which was also much more satisfactory. Other Colleges Contemplated: Sri Vidya Niketan, Tirupati: This was one of my other choices. This had a higher taker in comparison to G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College. The good placement record coupled with the two above factors made me settle for the former. I was looking for admission in National Institutes of Technology (NITs). I scored 93.4 percentile in JEE Mains, and I was hoping that the seat would come through, but this did not happen with such a high cut off, hence not very encouraging. So, I attempted again, but the result was similar, so I aimed to look for opportunities in my state and undertook the EAMCET exam. Procedure for getting admission at G.
