I got admitted to UVCE through the ex-defense quota, you need to very good rank in kcet exams especially to take up ISE and CSE in UVCE. College is in the heart of the city counseling procedure are followed as depicted by the kEA board.
Course Curriculum Overview
ISE and CSE two best courses which one can choose to get into UVCE. Faculty members are very experienced as the college hold 100 years of establishment it has maintained its quality of education. Intake of students to UVCE is less which also adds every student gets plenty of opportunities to expose. Exams and results are sometimes delayed as the college follows the CBCS scheme it's quite easy to get a good CGPA.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are also provided to students with a fair stipend. Many Projects have been designed by students which have got global recognition. And students get to learn a lot during these projects and can also be mentioned in their resumes.
Placement Experience
From 6th sem students are eligible. Companies like SAP, roulette, Atlassian, TCS, Wipro, visit the college. The average package of 5lakhs p.a. And the highest salary of 50lck p.a is provided in UVCE. Almost 100% of students of ise and cse get placed. In other branches, it lies between 80-85%. I wish to take up MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
As the college is handled by Banglore university the fees are Less. Every student with a low family income is benefited from different scholarships programs. Even UVCE vision scholarship is also provided by alumni of UVCE. Jobs and placements are the best part of UVCE. Sometimes the number of companies visiting the college will be more than the number of students. So the chance of every student getting placed is at peak level.
Campus Life
Many fests are conducted on campus at UVCE ex: FEASTA, MILAGRO, CODEFURRY. LIBRARY provides many books which are very useful for academics. The classrooms are not too good but are spacious. Annual sports events are conducted and even inter colleges sports are entertained There are many clubs at UVCE. IEEE, Ecell, G2C2, ADHAMYA, THATVA.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are not good but can be adjusted and stayed. The best part is the food they provide is good quality and the quantity of food non-veg is also provided. The admission process is through Banglore university web and seats are provided based on the distance the student is from and Hostel is affordable.
