Harshita Bafila's Review On Maharaja Agrasen College - [MAC], New Delhi

I gave DU- JAT which was meant for basically 3 courses: BMS, BBE and BFIA. I scored 200 marks out of 360 in the entrance. After which, I was called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview's round. I got AIR 891. And, I applied for counselling. In the fourth list, I got this college.

This course has a great value, as the seats are very less. In our college, there are only 46 seats. Only a few colleges have this course. After this, placements are good. Average package is around 4 Lakhs per annum. After BBE, one can go for MBA, MA, etc. Many courses are there. Most of the people however go for MBA, as when BBE and MBA are combined together, they give us great career.

Yes, From this year, our college has started an Interning Cell. Edunuts and many other companies came to our college for hiring students for the internship. Average stipend was 5K per month. It was a great experience.

Placements are job opportunities for my course are really good, as compared to other courses and colleges. Many companies come to our college. Average package is around 4 Lakhs per annum. However, many students get higher packages like, 8 Lakhs per annum and so. It increases every year.

Almost every event is celebrated in our college from Sports Meet to Annual Fest, Yuvaan. Cultural films are telecasted every Friday in our college's Auditorium. National Week was also celebrated in our college, in which different societies played their part.

Feasible. Highly feasible, to be correct. Fees of BBE vary in every college. The cheapest of all was Maharaja Agrasen College. Highest was SGGSCC with 46K per year. However this college had only 15K as fees, which is quite affordable. Also, our college offers scholarship and also, hostel fees is quite less, as compared to other colleges.

Campus life isn't that good. The college has a nice infrastructure. The canteen isn't that good though, which makes us shift to other eateries. There is a paraanthe waala, who serves delicious paraanthas at dirt-cheap prices.

Hostel facilities are really good as compared to other colleges. The rooms are good. Well-eqipped with washing machines on every floor. Mess' food is okay-okay. Not that good. But, it is home-like. Desserts are served every week or twice a week.

Exam structure was provided in the website of university. However, seating plan was given on the college's website and on the Notice Board, as well. Everything was properly managed. Laboratories are not that well-equipped. They are clean, but, not well-managed.

The faculty is somewhat mixed. Some teachers are really good. However, some are not that good at teaching. Some lectures are boring too. However, teachers don't take it for granted and teach properly. Komal Gupta mam was good who taught us Accountancy. Other teachers were satisfactory.
