Biotechnology at Patliputra University

I have applied to do BSc Biotechnology after 12th to two colleges in Patna, one is Patna women's college other is Patliputra University. No, I didn't have any special quota for admission. Admission criteria are to submit an online application at ppu.in, based on 12th marks, your merit list is prepared, however, minimum marks are 70% in 12th, no age limit. admission process starts after you get to appear on merit list 1, 2 or 3 . you have to go to the college, submit documents, make 6000 payment, and you will receive your I card, that ensures your admission. it's quite simple.

biotechnology is the upcoming sector in India and I am interested in this subject, so I applied for it. Faculty here at Patliputra University in the biotechnology branch are so experienced, we have 3 days of lab practice in a weak. They guide like mentors. students - teacher ratio is 30:1 All faculty teaches in simple Hindi- English language, there is no language barrier, almost all the teachers in biotech sections are PhD holders. Exam happens regularly 3 times in a semester, you could score well if you study up to the marks also. It's quite moderate.

You have to pay 6000 per year for three years cubing 18000 for the whole degree. It's cheap compared to other colleges. The fee structure is divided into three parts 6000+6000+6000 + some additional charges. There is an opportunity to get scholarships if you belong to the SC, ST category or EBC category that is around 4000—3 for three years. The fee hike is negligible here, it doesn't change from my last two semesters. No campus job is awarded, so no stipends.

The annual fest is not celebrated on the campus, this is its negativity. College owns a well infrastructured library which contains thousands of books on almost all subjects. The classroom environment is very friendly, all the seniors - juniors are supportive of each other. we get 2-3 days of lab works, some time sample collections work that is our extracurricular activities. There is a lack of many sports and extracurricular activities in the college. College students do not have any specific groups as such, all students of different branches have their respective groups on telegram managed by the campus authorities for notices.
