Remarks
I have applied in GLBAJAJ greater Noida but didn't opt for it as the fee was more compared to NIET. And if you compare the two colleges on other aspects Niet is far better. The faculy at NIET is quite good. I have not availed of any quota. For opting CS branch minimum PCM percentage required was 85 %. For admission, I had to qualify the written test of half an hour and appear in a personal interview.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for this course because of the good career prospects in the CS branch. The faculty-student ratio in class is 60:1. The faculty of the college is highly qualified and experienced most of them are doctorate. In every class, there are projectors and teachers who use the PPTs to teach. Term exam was conducted as per aktu guidelines.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placement from 6th semester onwards. The highest package is twenty five lacs per annum and the average package is four lacs per annum. Ninety percent of students get placed. I want to join any company as system analyst.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee remains the same for all four years of the course. The total cost in completing the course will approximately 6lacs excluding hostel. No scholarship. Although scholarship option is available for financially weaker section. I am in second year so no question of job at present
Campus Life
The main focus of the college studies hence there is no cultural fest that takes place. But there are several clubs which you can join and participate in activities that take place. There is a techfest in which you can participate and show your technical talent. All the classrooms are equipped with all the amenities such as a projector, whiteboard, etc. The rich library is there, the college provides books in every semester from the library
Interview Experience
The written test was based on Basic class 12 PCM. Interview questions include 1. Introduce yourself 2. Why do you want CS branch 3. What is the aim of your life 4. What are your strengths Etc The topic of GD was 'odd -even rule a good way to overcome pollution in Delhi' Revised class 12 PCM.
