Remarks

Admission is on the basis of percentage. There is no interview process it is on the basis of cut-off percentage. Teachers are good . The college has well maintained Library. If u are taking any other professional course then this is the best college for you. College also has a well-maintained canteen and computer lab. Teachers are very helpful and provide good counseling. Good placement opportunities are also by colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are well qualified and the teaching process is very good. They help us to understand the concepts practically. In order to achieve my aim, I chose this course. Teachers are enough for students. Term exams were held every six months and it was not difficult to pass.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 5500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Bank of Baroda -4lacs annual package PWC -5 Lacs annual package. Some projects are Clean India Swach Bharat. Not many projects are being taken by colleges and I have not much knowledge about it. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao has also been taken by the college.

After passing the fourth semester we get eligible for placement. Hardly 3-5 companies visit every year and good offers with yearly 5 lacs income is made.50-60% of students can get placement.I have planned to do Ca after getting the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no fees hike policy for the General category students neither any scholarships or financial assistance is provided . Although some consideration might be given if you talk with principal. Campus are being held every 6 month to provide good job opportunities

Campus Life

There are large no of books and journals in library which can be taken on rent by students for studying for free.sports and extra curricular activities are not very frequently held.College has its own website where we can gather knowledge about the college.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
