BITSAT - 360 marks, JEE Main 153 marks, JEE Adv -13k rank, i opted for this college because i wanted to study cs and this was the best possible choice i had.

The course is vast in nature covering all the branches of engg in the first year. After 1st year we have to study our branch courses and some humanities courses there is a unique practice school system a bits which allows us to intern at some com company for around 6+2.5 months. There are 2 practice school (internships) provides by the college.

Placements are at par with best institutions of the country the average placements of all the branches combine is 10 lakh whereas the avg for CS department is 16.2 lakh the starts does not include the foreign placements which are in dollars. Like amazon took around 5-6 students with a package of 27 lakh same goes for other companies like microsoft oracle etc.

There are many events like Waves- cultural festival it's among the top five cultural fest in india with footfall of over 60000, Quark-annual techno management festival, Spree- biggest sports fest in India, TEDx BITSGoa- the longest running ted talk in India.

Yes many banks like SBI and axis bank provide scholar loans to the students in which interest rates are lesser and you get the loan. There is also merit cum need scholarship provided by the institute also there is merit scholarship provided by the institute.

The gender ratio are not good in any tier 1 college in india same goes for our college the gender ratio of 2016 batch is 1:8.31. There are many activities going around in the campus ranging from debates quize. There are separate club for each kind of activities the clubs are funded by CSA(student union).

The hostels are single room there are 2 mess from which we have to choose every month. The college does not allow students to live outside the campus unless some special circumstances are there. The mess food is quiet good as well. Due to the location of the campus the weather is quiet good here so there is no need for the ac rooms.

There are 3 exams Test 1, test 2 and comprehensive examination per semester the labs are evaluated in every class so there is no practical examination in the end of semester there is relative grading. So people are given GPA according to the others performances.

The faculty is highly qualified at bits most of the faculties have dome ph.d from foreign universities and renowned institutions the physics department is one of the best departments in the whole country the quality and methodology of teaching is very good.
