Remarks
The admission process is quite smooth here, no such hassling is being done, though the administration here is a bit more of a government type still your work for documentation will be smooth and you don't need to worry about the safety of your documents. Admission criteria include either direct admission or through your JEE MAINS scorecard.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to pursue Engineering so I chose to do it from the IT branch as CS had no vacancies. The boys are to girls ratio here is about 10:2. The faculty here is helpful in nature. Some of the teaching staff whom I refer personally have been a great support to me, and I Especially love their teaching methodology and their teaching tactics, but this is only limited to some of the staff. The internal exams are held almost every month, and they are not so difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
Placements of our college have been rising every year especially in the CS/IT departments. Last year in our department 88% of the students were placed in MNCs like TCS, WIPRO, Cognizant, etc. Even one of the students was placed in the Amazon. I think if a fresher in the industry gets this type of exposure, he/she should grab it.
Fees and Financial Aid
They give some relaxation in fees to some of the students who are eligible for the scholarship. Though I would like to add that education is quite costly still my college gives the best opportunities at the rate which other colleges won't provide.
Campus Life
Some fests were held in the pre-covid era, but as of now, there have been no fests. Illuminati and Tech-kranti are some of the clubs of EC and IT departments respectively. Almost no extracurricular activities are held and the schedule doesn't allow us to do anything apart from college.
Interview Experience
There was only a PI session held when I went to take admission in the college, in which the HOD personally asked a few things regarding my 12th-grade marks, skills that I wanted to learn, and as to why I wanted to pursue Engineering as my career.
