College review on Acropolis

The admission process was taking place in both online and offline modes. I have taken admission in offline mode. After visiting the whole college and did an inquiry of my subject and course with the Head of the department bioscience. Minimum marks for admission in B.Sc. biotech course was 45% marks in higher secondary, the process of admission was very smooth. The staff of the office was very helpful and friendly to help students in every doubt. On the counseling day, I was very confident and they see my confidence also assure good academics.

I choose this subject Biotechnology in addition to Computer science for taking my future to my mind. As these fields are very much growing in this time. There is so much scope in the future for us as researchers in biotechnology also in artificial intelligence companies. Every Faculty are qualified Ph.D. or doctorate in their specialization course. They are very helpful and cooperative with students in class as well as in the curriculum. Exams are taking place once a year. There are no semester procedures. Weekly tests are good.

Internships are offered by Sun Pharma and Lupin with or without stipend both. Students work with faculty in reading scientific research papers and for projects based on governmental organized competitions.

From the final year or last semester, students are eligible for campus selection and placements. There is career development cell and personality development classes for students to help in their working and professional behavior for placements. Highest package offered by companies are starting from 20000 to 40000 maximum. Companies offered are Lupin pharmaceuticals, bharat bioTec, sun Pharma etc. There are 75% of students getting placed in companies through campus placements in Acropolis college. I want to become an entrepreneur after getting the degree.

Fees are according to course it's practically laboratory assignments providing to us, it's around 55000 rupees but we have got scholarships based on our percentage or marks in higher secondary, also minority scholarships are provided to students from the college. Yes, we can get internships with or without a stipend both in companies like lupin pharmaceutical.

The annual fest organized in our college in September is Literature Festival, and in January is E-summit that is the Entrepreneurial summit. The technical fest is organized every month. Classrooms are the best, big space and cleaned properly with regular sanitization. Extracurricular activities are held every week such as idol-making competitions, essay writing, craft making, idea generation, Hackathon, innovative ideas, etc. For overall growth of students. There are Rotaract club of Acropolis and YuvAcro club for social and youth awareness, Solaris and Manav club for Science and research interested students, Litmus club for literature and music, Entrepreneurship Development Cell is also in our college. All these clubs and organizations are run by college students themselves.
