Insights about NL Dalmia

The admission process was held online on Zoom platform because of covid-19 pandemic wherein first was the group discussion round/ general discussion round followed by the personal interview wherein there were 2 panelist. I didnt avail any quote for admission. Admission criteria: person must be a graduate in any discipline with 60% minimum

I choose this course because I had keen interest for finance as even in graduation I had pursued finance as specialization in BMS Student to Faculty Ratio: 10:3 is the student to faculty ratio at NL dalmia Institute Qulatification: The teachers at NL dalmia have a good experience having Mphil, MBA, CA, CFA degree The teaching method is great There used to be 2 exams in year however now the system follows to trimseter system wherein 3 exams take place and exams are moderate level of difficulty

Many companies came on board for internship opportunities such as: AIM India, Crisil, RBI, SBI SG etc. the roles offered were research analyst, research intern, GAX & GAC team, Business Development, Sales, Finance & HR etc. Stipends: Many of them were paid while others were unpaid We were suppose to make a project on summer internship which was called as SIP(summer internship project)

From Trimester 4 students become eligible for placements i.e from the 2nd year of PGDM exams Many companies came in colllege and placements are still ongoing Highest package: 12 Lakhs p.a. Average Pakage: 9 Lakhs p.a. Plans after Degree: I dont have any further plans to study in future. As I wish to secure a job in core finance profile.

The fee hike policy is 10% for juniors as well as senior batch There are no scholarships offered by the college No financial assitance offered by college however college gave installment facility to pay fees because of covid-19 Jobs - College provides internships as well as jobs which also have some core finance roles and many other roles

Many fest takes places however due to Covid-19 it took place online they are as follows: Vishleshshan Goonj Mulyaankan. The books were made available to us and the college has a physical as well as digital i.e. Online Library Amenities in classroom: As it was online was not able to attend classrooms Clubs: Finance Forum, Delta Magazine, Goonj Magazine, Ace Club ( marketing) etc.

The group discussion was a general discussion wherein the topic was "OTT platforms" where I had to speak 1 minute on this topic followed by a personal interview In a personal interview based on my graduation project and general awareness followed by financial ratios were a few questions asked by the panelist I prepared for rounds by brushing up-graduation project and financial ratios along with studying the current affairs on-going during that time.
