Naved's Review On Raj Kumar Goel Institute Of Technology - [RKGIT], Ghaziabad

I scored 10500 rank in UPSEE and under obc category it was about 3070. Initially I was thinking to opt for Galgotia and KITE but I got Fee waiver in RKGIT in first counselling so I finalise RKGIT over others.

I remember we got 2-3 offers from some companies for internship. Stipend was around Rs 5000-10000. Since I was Computer Science student , I would say for internship Computer science students have more opportunities then any other branch.

If you don't have good communication skills ,you are not studios, you do not have talent, Please do not opt for this college. I titled my review as extraordinary students because, Most of my batch-mates including were not offered on-campus placement opportunities(They do not call much companies) but today almost all of us are working in reputed MNC's.

Well We enjoy a lot. Every year we have our cultural fest. We celebrate saraswati pooja, There is jagran . Events are organised at regular intervals by literary,cultural and technology council. Robotics, Software seminars , conference happen regularly.

I got UPTU fee waiver scholarship, which is offered at the time of counselling , According to it I do not required to pay tuition fee. Dont expect scholarship from college, but most of the students get scholarship upto Rs 80000 (All thanks to akhilesh government).

They have good hostel facilities. You can get single room, 2 seater and even 3 seater. But demand is more as compared to rooms in college premises. Rooms are served on first come basis. So I advice If you are planing to take admission, book hostel as soon as possible, Mess food is good, we the students decide menus, If we are not satisfied with mess company we can change them.

UPTU colleges have same exam structure and that good. You will spend your entire 4 year period, giving exams. There will be 2-3 sessionals test in one semester from which scores from best two would be counted, the Pre university test and finally semester exams. In a year you have to face about 6 sessionals, 2 PUT's and 2 semesters exam.

I have to went through counselling. RKGIT was alloted to me . Then I visited college in about 15 days, submitted copies of my mark-sheets , paid fees. and got Admission. All colleges in UPTU have same procedure. You have to be ready with all your documents and off course fees.

I am not quit satisfied with faculty too. But it is the condition with all private UPTU colleges. They themselves seems to confused in their own concepts. If you have a practice of self study, If you can go to library and can study by yourself , then it will be fine for you. Although there are some good teachers too but overall I will rate faculty of RKGIT as below average.
