Remarks

I got my admission at SVEC through EAMCET Exam. Then my rank was 9000. I got a seat in my first counseling itself. One should secure a rank below 10,000 to get admission to the ECE course. There is nothing but the certificate verification and some fee payment process on the day of counseling in college. It was a great experience at SVEC to learn theoretical knowledge through doing things. That makes you industry-ready. One can go through the placement cell to know the various fields in which they can be placed. And every student is trained to go through the placements and secure a job. There's a lot like an entrepreneurship cell to support and sponsor new ideas and innovation and a lot more things in college. Once you get into it, you will get it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Most of the faculty are those who do their Ph.D.'s from prestigious colleges and of minimum, they have done their Masters and are currently in some research. They care a lot about the teaching methods. They are even ready to know the individual student's problem with their studies and help them to get through it. Exams are held like: 9 weeks - spell 1 1 week - mid1 7 weeks - spell 2 1 week - mid2 2 weeks - lab external 2 weeks - external theory.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There will be only some companies providing internships. All other students have to search for internships individually. One has to do their project in their 8th semester on their domain stream. There will be only project submission in the final semester.

Placement Experience

5

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for placement. The college has a huge number of campus placements. 40 companies will be coming to college to recruit in the 4th year. Some of the mass recruiters are Infosys, Wipro, cognizant. The student should have an aggregate of 60% and above to go through placement activities. I got a job in the IT sector and I'll go for it. SVEC is the best college in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for its placements count.

Fees and Financial Aid

Once you get a seat through EAMCET rank there will be no need of paying tuition fees to the college. The government will pay for it. The only fee the student has to pay is the Building fee which will be around 14k and for his residence.

Campus Life

4.5

The college has a fest named Mohana Mantra for three days in the month of September. SVEC got a world-class library, with a lot of books, and also a digital library where one can use sources like YouTube, w3schools, and whatever they need to learn things. There's a lot of journals and Newspapers like The Hindu available in the library to brush up their knowledge. There will be an Annual Sports meet held in college for which all the students train themselves to win in it. Every stream in college have their own committee or club-like, For ECE we have ACME this helps students to talk to their seniors for suggestions and advice. This helps students a lot to make the campus - a Ragging-free campus.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

One can opt for the hostel maintained by College which costs around 90,000. Or they can go for PG near the college that will cost around 50,000. I was in a college hostel in my first year of college then I shifted to a PG named F5. I think it is so good to go for a PG.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
