Remarks
The councelling was done via the MP DTE portal. After the councelling process we all were alloted colleges according to the choices that we filled while filling up the counselling process form. After we were alloted colleges we had to report at the Institute before a certain date for further admission process. The admission process took almost 3-4 hrs. Aftet this we all were admission into the college and a date from which our classes will begin.
Course Curriculum Overview
Every year has 2 semesters and in each semester we have 2 Mid-semester examinations and one End-semester exam followed by one external/internal viva. The exams are of average difficulty but the checking is a bit strict in some subjects.
Internships Opportunities
There are a number of internship opportunities. The companies that offer internships are Wipro, TCS, Newgen, startups, etc. The average stipend offered is around 10k. The students work on various projects during their internships like app management, wesite debugging,etc.
Placement Experience
The placement percentage in college is around 95bpercent. Students usually get placed graduation. Students become eligible for campus placement in the final year, but they can apply for internships from the 3rd year itself. Some students also get Pre-Placement-Offer (PPO) from companies after their internship. Students can apply for off-campus internships from 2nd year as well. The average package of CSE department is around 5 LPA and last years highest package was 17 LPA. Some of the companies that visit for placements are TCS, Infosys,Newgen,etc. I also want to grab placement after getting my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is a bit high regarding the fee structure of other similar colleges. College offers various scholarships for students like the Central Sector Scholarship, Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojna, and many more.
Campus Life
The classrooms are equipped with proper lighting, smart board, fans (and AC's in some classes) and good quality benches for students. There are all sorts of books available in the College library, books froms novels to educational magazines to course books and many other. The campus life at MITS is better than average. There are a number of clubs, groups, and societies run and organized by the students. MITS sports club, Under 25 MITS, MITS Journalism society, Drama Club, Music and Art Club, Debate Society, Entrepreneur Cell, and many more.....
