Remarks

I applied for Indus Business Academy for the PGDM program. I was looking for a college that has a stronghold in Finance vertical as well as a college that is budget-friendly. I was very much attracted to the offerings of Indus Business Academy and therefore I applied for admission to the college. Indus Business Academy provides 100% placement and the companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC and GT come for placement in the college with good packages. The college accepts CAT, XAT, MAT and CMAT for the admission process. The minimum cut-off is 50 percentile. If the student is qualified then a telephonic round is conducted by the college. In this round, basic questions are asked like personal details and academic. This round is basically conducted for testing the communication ability of the student. Soon after the second round is conducted which is technical in which students are asked technical questions related to the stream they have completed in the graduation for testing their knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Indus Business Academy provides a dual specialization program. I chose marketing and finance because my interest was in finance and college provides great opportunities by offering placements in companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC and GT. I really want to work in these companies and therefore I chose Indus Business Academy for my PGDM course. I Indus Business Academy the students get a mentor for 2 years program who guides them regarding the placements and internships. There is 1 mentor for 12-13 students, so the student gets one-to-one interaction opportunities. Other than this there are more than 30 faculties who have great experience in their field and have ample knowledge in their subject. The program is designed in such a way that each student gets the opportunity to speak in front of the audience which helps them in building their confidence. The College has 6 trimesters, each trimester has one mid and end-term. This examination can only be cleared if the student has paid attention.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There are a lot of companies that come into the college for providing internship opportunities. The company come for all the profiles like marketing, finance, HR, and Operations. The Stipend is generally performance basis. Companies like Outlook magazines come for internship programs every year. The tasks are generally for sales in marketing and for other profiles like Finance and Operations the marketing research paper is assigned.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college provides an extremely worthy fees structure to the student. The ROI is best of this college. The college offers the average package of 6,5 LPA which is great as per the fees. The college also offers a great learning experience with the help of the faculty. There are numerous scholarships that college offers. the names of scholarship are Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru memorial scholarship. it is for the student who has an aggregate score of 60% throughout their academics. Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is very enjoyable at Indus Business Academy. There are a lot of clubs and committees that conduct fests and festivals. YMCC is a committee that takes care of each and every festival celebration. the students participate in various activities like dance, music, and role-plays. I3 committee has been made to hunt placement and internship opportunities for the students. Apart from this, there are various clubs where students take part in newsletter making and other competitions which help them in learning new things.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

In the hostel room, we have a fan, bed, wardrobe, and washroom. The rooms are clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious with good ventilation. The boys and girls are separate with 2 individual buildings. The menu of the food changes every day and the food is warm and delicious. On special days special meals are made which is very delicious. The hostel is very affordable and very good and the registration process is very easy. The hostel is mandatory to be taken because it is a full-time residential program.

Interview Experience

4.5

The admission process was conducted in two rounds namely a telephonic round and a technical round. In a telephonic round, the questions were asked which were very basic like personal details and academic details. this round was basically based on testing the communication skills of the students. In the technical round, the questions were based on the knowledge of the discipline where the student has studied earlier. In this round the student's depth of knowledge is tested. after this round the confirmation mails comes regarding the selection of the students.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
