IGDTUW a good college

I applied for many other colleges but I choose IGDTUW because it was firstly a state govt college and secondly the placements are too good. You have to apply through the JAC Delhi Admission procedure for admission in NSUT, DTU and IGDTUW. The college is better than other government colleges but being a government college the administration is not soo good. You have to fight for every single demand as they will not listen to you on the first go. Hostels are clean and hygienic. Mess food is also good and healthy but the only problem is not all people get hostel because of priority criteria. This college is Delhi government college, therefore, it has a Delhi state quota of almost 85% and most students from Delhi do not get hostels unless and until there is any transfer case. My experience in this college is good till now. I highly recommend this college to students having not so high marks and good ranks. The college has some awesome placement stats.

I have opted CSE branch. I had opted for this branch because I always liked to have knowledge about the programs how a system works. We have 6 faculty + 1 HOD for a batch of 94 students. But not only these 7 faculty, but we can also approach any faculty in college for our problems. All the faculties are highly qualified. Exams are held timely and if you attend classes properly you can score well too in these exams.

Many internship offers are available at end of the second year for interns in the third year. I do not have as much knowledge of internships as currently, I am in my second year so for better knowledge you can visit our official website.

From the 6th semester, students became eligible for placements. All the big companies such as Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft all visit our college. The highest and average package will be updated on the official website of our college.

Fees are the same as other government colleges or I would say a little less than other colleges. I have not received any scholarship yet but ya there are many scholarship opportunities for various students. Our college also provides. sponsorship to toppers of each year and there are many government related scholarships for students having a financial crisis.

There are 3 feasts in one year. TAARANGANA: Cultural fest held in Feb first week. INNERVE: Technical fest held in Oct last week or Nov first week. SYNERGY: Sports fest There is a library in which almost every book is there. You can issue them anytime and return them within a week. Our college has a successful startup. Raahee: It is a mental health startup to not only spread awareness of mental health but also to help people to connect with suitable therapists in an affordable manner. Raahee also has an app where you can go for therapy at affordable prices and can also learn extra things related to the same.

There are two hostels: Krishna and Kaveri. In the hostel room, you are provided with one almirah, one bed and one table chair for one person. There are 2,3 or 4 seater rooms. Mess food is good, not better than home-cooked food but good to go. You have to apply for a hostel every year and students from outside the Delhi quota will definitely get a hostel but not sure of Delhi quota students. This depends on the availability of rooms and the distance between their house and college.
