Hectic college life

Admission was held in 3 rounds. 1st the written round, then came to the group discussion and personal interview round after that students were selected and were asked to pay the fees and admission was confirmed.

Exams were taken on three steps first came the midterms then comes to the internal and then the semester exams each semester were carried out after six months gap and after the pandemic exams were taken online.

We were offered an internship but we couldn't complete the internship due to the pandemic but I assure you that internships in good companies are given to us rather than that we were asked to make projects on the particular internship we were doing the company we were under and according to that marks were given.

From the 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements companies like Indigo Amazon Flipkart Wipro visited the highest average package as per the company and professors of Edward like Wipro give 1.7 lakh packages Amazon gives 2.15 lakh package my plans after getting the degree is to pursue higher education like MBA.

Campusing were hurt by help online and people got placements in Amazon with the package of around 2.15 lacs. Multiple placement companies like Wipro Indigo Amazon Flipkart does campus in our college. So it was fun.

Our annual fest was Caledonia which were held by the Students Union. We have alumni like Swami Vivekananda the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Manna Dey and much more celebrities who passed out from our college. Extracurricular activities were also held in a college like drawing competitions for sports day essay writing composition and many more. There were multiple groups like singing group dancing club drama club and many more.

During the first year, each student was given in a sharing room after the first year second year onwards we were given a single room. the meal was not too good but not too bad. the registration process was given like the students who came from the outside state were given hostels first and the students who were Christian were given hostels for us after that those who stay nearby they gave hostels. I did not rent a room.

First came the written exam round in which general knowledge English and maths were given to us with the time limit of three hours for the first have to solve them and after that merit list was put out and people were chosen and they were to appear for the group discussion. In the group discussion round students were divided in a pair of 2 and were given topic like should nuclear disarmaments lead to world peace and we have to talk for about 3 minutes regarding that topic after that came the personal interview on that very same day we were to appear to the faculty members introduce ourselves and answer the respective questions they asked.
