Review for my college Acropolis.

The college has well qualified teachers, proper lab facilities, a calm environment and well facilitated library, regular lectures, provide many training programs, career development training, internship opportunities, placement opportunities and different certification courses, etc. Minimum marks criteria are 45 percent and above are eligible to take admission in Bachelor's of Science in the field of biotechnology and with one course of specialization such as pharma chemistry, microbiology, and computer science. The admission process was absolutely fine and smooth. I am glad to have it.

I choose Biotechnology with Microbiology as a major subject, because it will be helpful for me to understand these concepts to implement in my research in future or laboratories practical. Faculty-student ratio is 1:17 in our batch. Faculties are highly qualified and they are PhD or Doctorate in their specialization fields as well they have best practical knowledge and this they provide us. We used to do 3-4 Biotechnology, microbiology and chemistry practicals every week. Exams are held once a year, no semester in our course, exam dates are given by our affiliated University that is Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya in Indore City. Exam papers are good and not so tough.

I have joined internship training in immunology and its purpose offered by University in our college, also we have participated in many programs promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in our ideas to make a good impact in our society and can provide solutions on sustaining problems. Sun Pharma provides internships and offers visits to their laboratory and factories for pharmaceuticals. Projects come under is to read research papers and annotate them with the help of our department faculty. We are also a part of projects leading by our seniors and teachers in microbiology and pharma chemistry subjects.

Placement facilities available in our college, All students are eligible for campus selection in their final year as we are eligible in our third year for placements. Our college helps us with career development cell for developing our personality and professionalism in our behaviour for good and confident interview for our best placements in the company. Lupin pharmaceuticals Ltd, Biocon, Bharat Biotec, etc. Are the companies which offer placements in our college in our Bioscience Department. The percentage of students getting placed is more than 75%. Our college promises more placements and also work on them very well. My plan after getting my degree from this college is to opt for post graduation in my field or subject of interest and then PhD.

The fees structure is feasible and scholarships are available for every student. I got a scholarship on basis of my marks in the higher secondary in addition to this from the central government skim also. Scholarship name is Central scholarship and minority scholarship. We can pay our fees in three instalments. There are no extra costs or charges for the syllabus, libraries, bus and sports. No hostel facility but bus facility is available in many cities. Yes, we get financial assistance and Internship programs with and without a stipend. We are very glad to have this course Biotechnology in Acropolis college.

Annual fests like Entrepreneurship summit, innovators meet, etc. Held in months of January and February. Literature festival in September. Annual programmes and induction ceremony at starting of the session from August to October. Books and journals are available in the library. We are very comfortable to sit in library and study, no disturbance, better environment and good for study for all students in their interesting subjects. Research papers are also there. Sports club in their in our college, fit India moment also takes place once in a year, marathon also, we take part in these activities, green India movement, etc. Extracurricular activities like plantation drive, marathon, sessions on dental health and mental awareness, physical health take care, etc. We used to take part actively in all these extracurricular activities in our college.
