I appeared in state level engineering exam know as MP-PET to get admission in IPS Academy.I scored around 112 marks out of 200.After the results were out we had to go through the counselling process conducted by the state university (rajiv gandhi prodyogiki vishwavidyalaya). It was and is the one of top 5 private engineering college in madhyapradesh which I was getting as per my rank.

B.E. is a 4 years course. In first 2 years you will learn the basics of all engineering streams like computer science,electrical, mechanical and civil engineering. Course structure is defined at university and all affiliated college follow the same. Each year is divided into 2 semesters 6 months each and each semester have 6-7 subjects including practical labs. Every subject is divided into 5 units to cover all topics.

Our college does not provide any internship. In 3 rd year student himself will have to find the company for mandatory 1 month industrial training.

Usually companies will stat coming for placements in 7th semester. The average package offered by different companies was around 3.5 to 4 lac. Once placed you are not allowed to sit in other companies unless any company is offering higher packages(more than double). Almost 5-6 company came for placements at our time and about 70-80% batch was placed before their graduation.

College lacks behind in technical fests. However there are many cultural and management festivals in the college. College was winner of NEN (National Entrepreneur Network ) competition three times in a row. Cultural fests include the college foundation day and annual day.

College fee is feasible less as compared to other private competitor colleges. 75% of fee is the tuition fee apart from that there is fee for sports facilities and transport(if you opt). You can opt to pay the fee in two instalments after having a easy discussion with college admin.

There is no scholarship provided by the college to general students. SC/ST and OBC candidate can opt for scholarships as the government norms. Education loan is easily offered by government and private banks if you have the eligible guarantor.As far as I know there is no loan facility from college side.

Campus is quite good and diversified enough. There are around 60 different courses offered by college.You will meet the students from different courses. Each course department have their different events you can enjoy them all. It is one of the best college in the state for the sports activities.

There are no serious efforts from college side to maintain the alumni network. I has been 4 years since I got passed out from college but till I didn't get any mail for alumni meeting or similar activity.

In each semester there are 6-7 subjects with labs so it is definitely the hectic one. Also there is mid semester exam whose marks will contribute to you final exam result. Each theoretical subject is divided into 5 units. In exam there is 1 question from each unit so you will have to cover the entire course for good marks. There are external viva also for practical exams.

After MPPET results were out we got the counselling letter from the university. The candidates were called to appear in counselling as per their rank in the entrance exam. In the counselling one has to choose the available college and engineering stream. After having chosen the college you will get a admission letter and college fee structure from there which you can present at the college for further admission process.
