I applied to a number of colleges and finally got a seat in guru Nanak dental college. A very reputed college not only in West Bengal but all over India. I didn't avail of any quota facility while entering the college as I belong to the general category. Those who want to apply in the counseling process for getting entry into this college must qualify neet xam and should be 17 years of age or above. It's been almost 10 months I am in this college. The campus is very big with 3 playgrounds. It also has other courses like engineering, pharmacy, and hotel management. It's under the JIS group. It has a canteen facility and also a gym. Basketball court for the entertainment. Well planted trees, grass, and flowers. It has hostels for far-away students. Food quality is also good. Xerox room for additional help. The campus is clean and tidy. The academic building has 5 floors and separate practical labs. Hospital is separate for the heavy patient load. A beautiful pool to add beauty. And locker room.

Dentistry is a wild stream chosen all over the country. Being a doctor is a great blessing to anyone. Serving people in need is the best job. There are enough faculty members for each and every subject and topic. They are the best set of teachers who teaches every point very nicely and clears every doubt. They help us to the extreme during our practical classes. During covid, when the lockdown was going they were taking online classes via gmeet. Those classes were extremely of great help. Until now there were three internal exams for the betterment of our marks and practice to do better each time in the results. Moreover, there are many more additional online exams that were taken for knowing our preparation. The questions were standard and if one studies properly, attends the classes regularly, and listens carefully the lectures then it's easy to pass even get good scores.

Companies here to be more specific are hospitals both government or private. Or opening own clinic. The college offers an internship program that helps the students before stepping into our world and working on their own. And they get paid during internships.

Most of the students who have good marks in every exam get placed in the best places across the state and country. They get a good handsome salary. My plans after the degree are either doing a master's or applying for various jobs.

There are both government quotas and management quotas in our college. So the fee is 2,50,000 per year for govt quota. I am in this particular quota. The scholarship is also given to consistently good academic performers in the college exams. Campus jobs are available for self-practice.

The library has enough books for every subject. It's a great help to the students. By issuing the library cards one can borrow a book for some days. There are sports activities. Inter-house competition in various well-known games. The extracurricular activities are music dance painting art literary poetry etc. Winners are given exciting prizes.
