My college is best

My first preference is l d engineering college and my second preference is this one Vishwakarma Government Engineering College and let me tell you in brief that i want to go for government college so i chose the above ones. I couldn't get admission in ldce so in second round i choosed this vgec and i am belonging from the general quota and i got admission in instrumentation and control engineering which is 4 years undergraduate course. And admission criteria if you want to get admission in top 3 government engineering colleges in Gujarat and you want to take admission in computer field so you are required to get rank under 1000 and in IT under 2000 and that is how the cutoff is going.

So as i said earlier i want to go to government college and i decided to go with these 4 branch Computer, IT, EC, IC. We have very excellent faculties in every branch and they are very supportive in nature and they are giving us many opportunities to present ourselves in better ways. Faculties had done Masters and pH.d programs in particular fields and believe me they have very good knowledge about their subjects. We have one midsem exam in every six months gap and one final exam which has also the same gap and it is not that hard to pass the exam but to get good marks you are supposed to do a hardwork and before 1 month of exam preparation is i think good enough to get good marks.

I think the students are required to apply for the internship on their own the college will only going to see your performance and all. As of now i am in 5th semester maybe i am going to one internship from the internshala and of course the project will help me a lot in lot of ways of my career.

7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement and in our college like somewhere around 30-40 companies are coming they are offering 3-6 LPA to the students. Companies like Infosys, tcs, and many software companies, and then yokogawa is coming.. Currently i Don't know what is the highest package offered by companies and as i said earlier avarage packages 3-6 LPA. A lot of students placed in software department but in other branches there is less as compared to Computer/ IT department. My plan after getting degree to go abroad

Let me get you to the fees structure so half-yearly you are required to pay 1500 and for final examination you are required to pay 800-900 INR. and one of my friend is telling that hostel fees for half yearly is 1300 and at this range i can say the rooms and facilities are much good. In the first year one of the faculty will introduce you to a all the scholarship in which i think each and every student will get all the information about it and having a good source of savings. Now most important thing that every student eager to know that is how is placement of this college and let me tell you that in Gujarat if you want good placement than you have to get admission in ldce. In compare to ldce we have less placement than ldce. But still students can get 3-6 lacks annual package .

There are many fests and many technical - non-technical events which are happening every year and thousands of students are participating in this events and you will going to receive a participating certificate and if you are the winner of this event you are supposed to have exciting prizes and rewards. Let me take the name of the fest like tech fests and we have Gymkhana, adventure club, VAA club, NSS, NCC, ROBOCON, HACKATHON like many events happening and all the students participating with full of joy and eagerness.

As I said it is a government hostel so there are fewer things that they are providing like one big-length drawer in which you can put all the things like your clothes your study materials and all the necessary things. Meal quality is I can say at avarage and you can see different types of dishes at the different day. Once you are done with the college admission process they are supposed to ask you are you going to apply for the hostel as well and one thing I want to clarify here is like Ahmedabad students are not going to stay in the hostel they're giving priority to the distance-based. One can get easily a pg or room at a very low amount like if you are sharing the room you are required to pay 3000-4000 per month which I think affordable.
