KLE Tech's brief overview

I received 5079 ranks in KCET 2018, and I applied for colleges like Dayanand Sagar, Banglore and RNSIT, Banglore, NIE, Mysore and also to KLE Technological University, Hubli. At the time of application, I had a quota of 3BG. The KCET cutoff for Aided seats was close to 6000 and Unaided seats were around 9000 and also there are management seats too through which one can take admission. The admission was thorough KCET and actually, there was a counselling round which was for the document verification. The college was open and free to Contact them about the faculties, facilities and the fees structure.

I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering. KLE Technological University is known for its ECE branch. The faculty: student ratio is approximately 10:1. All the faculties are well qualified. The Associate Professors have M.tech degrees some have PhDs too. All the Professors are PhD holders and are keen in their field. We basically had 2 Internal Assessments and One end Semester exam. The whole semester is of approximately 6 months duration.

Placements begin from 7th semester. Many companies visit our college, like Amazon, Infosys, Texas, Akamai, Amagi, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, Accenture, Bosch, Twilio, Juniper, Toshiba, Sony, Informatica, Siemens helathineers, PwC, LTTS, Applied materials, many more! Amazon took 40 students, Cognizant 250, Deloitte 66, Accenture 110, Texas 6, Toshiba 8, Akamai 3, Bosch 58. The job roles were analysts, associate software engineer, etc The highest package till now is 21 LPA by AWS. The average pack is around 5LPA. Nearly 95 percentage of the students who apply for placements will get placed. As I have now placed in a company, I work for it and will continue my corporate life.

The KCET Aided seat fees were 36,990 for the academic year 2021-2022, unaided fees were 76,500 and Comed-K fees was 2,15,500. The college can give some fee consideration to really needed people. But they won't be providing scholarships. Many students opt for Scholarships given by the Govt of Karnataka.

The annual fest is called the Pleiades and it will be held in an even semester, all the fun events are mostly held this semester. There's a big library in the college and all the books and journals are available if some books aren't available one can inform the librarian and he'll arrange for the same. All the classes have projectors and learning is easy. There is also a sports club in the college. Various competitions are held and all students are given equal opportunity. Dance, drama, quiz competitions, inter department competitions, are also held. There are many tech clubs too in the college. Clubs like Team Vegadooth Racing, Team Concept Green, Team Euros Racing, AeroKLE clubs, coding clubs are mentionable.
