Remarks

I first went to SKIT, which is in Jaipur. But seats weren't available for the branch I wanted to opt for. Later I went to JECRC(my college). I didn't avail any quota as I am from the general category. The admission process was easy and understandable. I secured my seat for Electronics and Communication Engineering on the basis of 12th Percentage. Minimum required marks were between 50 to 60%.

My first preference was Computer Science (CS) but the seats were full so I opted for Electronics and Communication. This field is of my interest too. I like software and Hardware and it provided me with that. Talking about the faculty-to-student ratio, due to covid guidelines only 30 students are allowed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and the remaining 30 on the other 3 days. So the ratio is 1:30 right now. And it will continue until the government issues any other guidelines. The majority of the teachers are Ph.D. holders with a great experience. They all are frank and teach well. We only appeared for Midterm tests via online mode. They were quite easy to pass but we were promoted to 2nd year.

Internships Opportunities

Inside the college, internships aren't available. An individual has to get an internship outside the college. Most internships are unpaid and no stipend is paid. Am in my 2nd year so I do not have many ideas about the internship programs.

Placement Experience

The placements are average. Various companies like Accenture, Wipro, HP, etc visit the college. The average package is 4.5L per annum. The majority of the students get placed. My goals are different, I'll be joining the armed forces.

Fees and Financial Aid

Right now we are attending our Industrial training which is mandatory according to RTU guidelines. Every student has to join Industrial training (in college available but can also avail outside college) in odd semesters.

Campus Life

There are various clubs and societies run by students but I have no idea because am not a part of any. We were introduced to it but I didn't find them interesting so I decided not to join as we have to stop after college and I Live far from the college.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
