Remarks
You have to give JEE Main and Advanced exams for entrance. JEE Advanced rank is taken into account for admission. For CSE it's around 200 closing rank, for Electrical Engineering it is around 800, for Mechanical Engineering around 1800. JEE Main exam is conducted every year four times and the best score is considered for JEE advanced. Then JEE advanced is conducted in which two exams are there.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and was somewhat outdated. Now new education policy has come in which you can exit from the degree and get the diploma. Faculty members are good and well qualified almost everyone from the best universities in the world.
Internships Opportunities
Around 200 companies come for internships in the internship season and around 400 students get internships from UGs. They basically need a good cpi and projects which are offered by the professors in iitk.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester campus placements begin. Around 97% of students sitting in placements get placed in good companies. Companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft, JPMorgan, Samsung and 100s like them visit our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike is around once in ten years. There are so many scholarships for financially weak students and SC/ST students from the college itself and many of them are funded by our alumni. You get internship opportunities in college.
Campus Life
1050 acre campus with best lecture halls and laboratories PK Kelkar Library is one of the biggest libraries in India. There are three fests Antaragni(cultural fest), Techkriti(technical fest) and Udghosh(sports fest).
Hostel Facilities
There are total 13 hostels with best facilities like high speed wifi, mess with good food. Your room has all the required furnitures. With toilets in the wing itself. Registration is done at time of counselling.
