Entrance Preview
I took IP university's own examination. I scored around 6000 and I opted this college as I have attended HMR and it is too far from my place and I want to somewhere near my residence and atleast the college should in the city.
Course Curriculum Overview
Starting of the Course Structure was good as we went up in the class, i think that we need more conceptual and Practical knowledge instead of classroom study. Labs were good but not advanced and I can give an example that now a days industry is using ARM processor and in the curriculum we still have 8051.
Internships Opportunities
No, our college do not provide internships and if it provides than i don't know check the university website.
Placement Experience
Placement is good. College always tries to get good companies and motivate students to get into the job. Though I felt that college should arrange a seminar in which it explains the criteria of jobs as most of the student don't know what/when to do the right things because of which many deserving candidates left without jobs.
College Events
We use to have different events at different times but the fest was common every year. Now they use to have lot of events, even the Alumni meet held every year though they have to make more efforts in calling the Alumni. Fest used to be good for some and for some they are boring. Actually students thinks that they can get DU level fest from a private mid scale engineering college.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni meet held every year but there are not much alumni who attends the meeting. So i think that the college has to do something so that most of the alumni attend the meet.
Exam Structure
Exam Structure was good. Its not that hard and not that easy. It requires student to get all types of exams and not only the paper exam. To pass the exam we have to submit assignments, we have to make files, we have to perform experiments practically, we have to face the Viva, we have to take the Written exam and we have to take the sessionals. Overall the scheme of the exam was good.
Admission
I studied that's how i got in this college. Don't read this comment because this comment isn't about a shortcut to enter a university unless you have lot of money in your dad's account to get a back door entry. So the journey is like you have to start studying very soon i think in the 11th standard only though now there are some institutes who are offering IIT courses from very low close like 8th standard.
Faculty
Faculty was the best thing I had in the college. Even now I am in Contact with some of the Professors. Faculty helped us a lot in understanding the projects though we never took them serious and always wasted time but they really show patients for us and always helps us.
