Remarks
The minimum age required for the BJMC course is 17 years. Admission is based on marks obtained in the 12th class and the number scored in the entrance exam conducted by IPU-CET. The college has a limited number of seats so you will only get admission once you have good marks and a good rank. I have not applied for another college because i was looking for a nearby home and i get admission here easily.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because this is a 3-year degree course and it provides job opportunities in various fields like journalism, reporter, radio jockey, video jockey, freelance content writer, tv correspondent, etc. Every batch has only 45 students and the college has a good number of faculty members so the ratio is good. The faculty for the BJMC course has good teaching experience and industry experience. The college invites guest faculty from film making, media management, content writing, reporting and anchoring, etc which helps to gain good practical knowledge.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total feed for 3-year course duration was rupees 180000. There is an option to pay fees semester basis or yearly basis also. I have not applied or taken a scholarship from college so i do not have an idea about it. There is no on-campus job with a stipend. Yes, few students have applied for part-time jobs like content writers or video editors.
Campus Life
Our classroom is equipped with a computer and projecting system. All classrooms are fully aired condition. The college has its own newsroom and television studio with the latest technology equipment used in the industry. The College library includes the latest journals, magazines, and books related to mass communication courses and other courses also. Annual fest every year conducted in college by a team of student and college staff.
