In NIT Surat admission come through JEE mains exam only I am in SC Category and I achieved 3680 Category rank and 95321 AIR in JEE main 2019 for getting civil engineering in this college and closing rank for sc category is also 3680 admission in nit we have to conduct counselling from jossa and from jossa we get college based on merit.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have an interest in civil engineering and also want to do something in civil engineering this motivation helps me to choose civil engineering here is faculty ratio approx 16:1 and qualifications of all main faculty are PhD holders and also for doing some lab classes and assignments some PhD students teaches as faculty.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are here a little bit less but if we work on our specific topic deeply we can get research internships easily and here is an opportunity to get internships from Germany and other international Universities.
Placement Experience
Placement of NIT Surat is good in case average placement is approx 12 LPA and highest of this year is 42 LPA in other branch placement are a little bit low as average is 7-8 LPA and highest 13-14 LPA, chances of getting placement are too much high if you have not any back in the semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of one semester are around 65000 and for hostel fees, there are total yearly around 45000 if you are belonging from the specific category you can get a scholarship from you samaj Kalyan board/NSP/ONGC and some merit-based scholarship provisions in college.
Campus Life
The campus of NIT Surat is beautiful it is located in the precious location of the city of surat near the bank of the sea here is so much different type of club, NCC, library gym, SAC and too much another thing we can easily spend a whole day without annoying.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel of NIT Surat Is good there is 6 boys hostel and 1 girl mega hostel, hostel's room are clean I two days of each weak and other facilities in hostel-like volleyball court, gym, mini SAC, mini computer lab, mini library, and other so much facilities.
