Remarks

I haven't applied for any other colleges but I was getting IT from gl bajaj through Direct admission. I haven't applied for any quota. I have taken admission to NIET through counselling in the computer science stream.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen computer science because of its placement opportunities. There are lots of companies for computer science students. Faculty to student ratio is approximately 30:1. Teachers of NIET have done Mtech and some teachers have done PhD. Every semester exam is held in 6 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 105700 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Service Based Companies visiting NIET are Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. NIET has tied up with Capgemini. Product based companies coming to NIET are VMWare, tekysytem, Amazon, apisero etc. The highest package is 32 LPA. Approximately 90% of students got placed from the computer science branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee Structure of NIET is descent in comparison with gl bajaj and other private colleges but after becoming autonomous it is increasing their fees. I didn't get any Scholarships, Financial Assistance and any other thing.

Campus Life

There is no such annual fest in NIET. tech fest is organized by seniors every year. Books are easily available from the library. Descent opportunities for Sports and extracurricular activities. There are social groups like codetronics, khushiyan baton club etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always .
