The campus of vgec Chandkheda is very big and clean. There are many trees on campus and the campus is very good for nature lovers. Every year vgec arrange many fests like tech feast, sports competition etc. Vgec has a very big and good library. Many groups in vgec are active by students and college like NCC, NSS, SSC. One negative point of infrastructure is the sports ground in vgec basketball court is very good but the condition of cricket and football ground is not so good.
Hostel Facilities
Vgec's hostel is very good as compared to other government colleges' hostels. In the hostel room, you can get one bed, study table and chair by the college. In the vgec's campus to canteen are available. First is vgec Canteen and second is GTU Canteen. Quality of food invgec Canteen is not good but the quality of GTU Canteen food is good. Admission to the hostel is based on your acpc rank because the hostel capacity of vgec is 1000 students so all students can't get a room in the hostel. In the hostel 1 room is allocated to 3 students. If you can't get a hostel in vgec so don't worry because many pg and room on rent are available nearby campus.
