Remarks

The admission process was quite simple, we have to take the allotment college letter with all the necessary documents like Marksheet (10th,12th), TC, Migration, Caste Certificate, and all the necessary documents. The criteria are of 12th minimum 50% marks and seat allotted through MP DTE counseling. My counseling is in the month of July and College started in August.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose automobile engineering and this college because this is the only college except for rgpv which have an automobile branch. And the automobile lab and the events are the best part of this college and if you want to get practical knowledge go for this college. Faculties are experienced they will help you in lots of events of the automobile like Gokart championship, E-Baja, and many other events also. The term exams are of moderate level because automobile, mechanical it is the toughest branch of engineering but if prepare well then you are good to go to do best in exams.

Placement Experience

In the 6th or 7th-semester, students are eligible for campus but only software MNCs came to the college like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, etc. No core companies for Mechanical, Automobile, Civil branches. The highest package is of 10Lpa. Avg 2.5Lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite ok they charge around 60000-80000 per year for the engineering course. The cost of study and other things take your expenses sometimes out of budget. Scholarships are also there but I'm not much aware of it because I'm not applicable to avail it.

Campus Life

There are lots of events happening inside the campus and some inter-college events and the Name is TechAchme event, Fresher events, Farewell party, and lots of events in which you can showcase your talent. The libraries are good in this where you can sit quietly and learn or study. Lots of laboratories are there like CAD lab, automobile lab, Workshops, Computer lab, etc. Every year lots of sports and extra curricular activities happen in the college. There are student clubs too and other clubs also.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are not that good it is a kind of suffocating atmosphere due to security purposes. The food is ok in the mess. You can easily afford a hostel. Or you can also take room or pg in the area called Patel Nagar just opposite of the college.

The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

Choosing a college is a major decision, and for many students OIST Bhopal, the choice often comes down to abalance between legacy, regional repution, and practical constraints. Students typically compare OIST with other top private colleges in Madhya Pradesh such as LNCT or VIT Bhopal. My rank falls in the 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh range, OIST becomes a primary choice. It offers the same RGPV degree as the government colleges but with a more structured trainig program for private placements.
