Remarks
I have applied for the college NIET which is affiliated with AKTU LUCKNOW. I didn't avail any quota for getting admission The admission criteria is very simple, you have to appear in examinations like UPSEE or JEE mains after 10 + 2. The minimum mark is the cutoff of the UPSEE examination and there are no such criteria of age as UPSEE has an infinite number of attempts. On the counselling day, fee submission and document verification are done on the college campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I want to be an electrical engineer and I have heard a lot about this college so landed there. The faculty and student ratio is approx 60-70. classes are divided into groups so the ratio becomes very fair. most of the faculty are highly qualified and have a lot of knowledge in their respective branches. every month there are sessionals held, and on every half yearly University also takes semester exam. there are some internal and external practicals too. Exams are easy to pass with a little bit of sincerity.
Fees and Financial Aid
Talking about the fee hike there is approx a 2-3k fee Hike every year. Current fees are around 105k which is quite lower than the other institution situated in the region. The fees value for money. Students of this college can also avail scholarships given by the UP government, Central Government and other state governments. My college student gets approx 50k in the form of a scholarship. College also provides financial assistance for poor students.
Campus Life
There are many annual fests held by the college like a farewell party for the final year and a fresher party for the first year. except for this the college organisers many game fests and techfest also there is a week of sports named KHELOINDIA. the college also participates in UP zonals. approx every month hackathon are also held. there are some social group are clubs which is run by the students of this college like RANGMANCH, DHRUVA, DEVTEAM, MUSICLAND.
