UGC accredited LPU in-house Ph-D pre-admission test; Cleared the test followed by a panel interview where i needed to present a research orientation about the topic of choice for future research. I have great interest in studying external dynamics of language and its internal mechanics; pursuing a research methodology in the field will help me fulfilling the dream.

Course curriculum is definitely challenging and has strong research inputs incorporated in order to inculcate as well as harness research potential in the student. Also at the same student is offered with multiple choice to chose from a bouquet of options available as in my case i chose linguistics stream subjects for my course work.

Yes our college provided stipend especially for me being a teacher-employee as well i got fee waiver of 50%. This really promotes faculty members to go for their qualification upgrade which definitely meets university's philosophy of transforming education and transforming India.

University has a strong team of dedicated members who keep working towards better placements of the students, they keep in mind about the changing industry expectation and keep the students as well as the curricula get enough exposure of the same. Almost about 50 plus MNCs like Oracle, Cognizant, Oracle, L& T , Daewoo, General Motors, Apple, Microsoft and many established national brands.

Fee structure is quite flexible in a sense that it gives healthy amount of scholarships on the basis of qualifying exams. In B.Tech courses a student gets a scholarship to the tune of one lac per annum if he had scored above 90 percent in his 12 th Exam.

University focuses on multiple dimensions of learning where they have structured around the concepts of Lecture, Tutorials, Practicals, capstone Projects, Internships, Entrepreneurial programs and industrial apprenticeships. Exams follow a continuous formative assessment followed by Mid Term and End Term summative assessment. Timetable of a student across the campus runs into a schedule of 25-30 hours of teaching load.

LPU has an extensively laid out transparent system of selection depending on the course opted for, in my case a student has to qualify a written test which is based on UGC pattern followed by an elaborate panel of interviewers. Whole of the process takes a month or so and results were declared for each stage with proper intimations made from the university.

Faculty is an excellent product mix having wide range of experience plus qualification of a doctorate. They would always make classes very lively and interesting and in all it was always an enriching experience for me. Behaviourally as well as ethically teachers observed high amount of ethics in all forms of interactions with the students and will properly guide before and after every evaluation component.
