Remarks

I applied to all the major Delhi colleges and colleges in Haryana as it was close to home, I also got selected for AFMC but didn't opt for it as it requires a 10-year service bond. I could easily get PGIMS or Karnal but did not opt as BPSGMC has a better ranking worldwide. I got my college via all India quota and also I did not do Haryana counselling. I could not get a better college as all counselling does not allow how to do the counselling after the second round so I how to take admission in the same college. But BPS GMC is a nice college and a wonderful place to learn and grow the seniors here take care of the juniors in the most loving way and also guide for a better way of learning the teachers are awesome and the OPD is plenty. All in all, I'd like to say if you get a chance between BPS GMC and any other college of Haryana you should opt for BPS GMC.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose MBBS because it is a noble profession and also I had a dream of becoming a doctor since childhood. The faculty at BPS GMC is very nice and supportive and the Teachers make students better doctors. We are following the new CBSE guidelines there is sdl learning early clinical exposure and plenty OPD. We have clinical based examination and we can easily pass the exams if studied nicely.

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship is for one year and the students get paid a stipend which is as per the state guidelines, currently, the stipend in Haryna is around 18000 rupees. Also the internship provides realtime hands on experience when you work in different wards and emergency room .

Placement Experience

5

After MBBS Students can apply for JRship which easily pass over 1lac and better you can opt for postgraduation, MD, and MS in your feild of choice which offer quite golden oppurtunities for future endeavours.

Fees and Financial Aid

Considering subsidized medical education in the country the courses are highly affordable as compared to to the private institutes offering the same course at tremendous prices. Scholarships available for army children and also so for PWD and SC and ST categories. The Internship provides stipend as approved by the state government. Currently the stipend in Haryana is about 18000 rupees which is ample.

Campus Life

5

We have an annual fest named as Umang and also a sports meet Diwali fest and several other such small fest. A library is one of the best in Haryana it has all the required books of UG and PG courses and all the journals and the current research papers. The central library is open 12 hours a day and there is a reading room which is available 24/7 children can stay at night and study there. Both the central library and the reading room are fully centrally air conditioned. Library and reading room are one of the best in Haryana. The lecture theatres are also in good infrastructure and the LT lawn is also nice. The campus is green and has good infrastructure. We have several houses and a student society called as ekam. Colleges very Sports Centre we have sport meet and we have regular sport activities this badminton court and basketball court and Kabaddi is uniform in sports.

Hostel Facilities

5

The rooms are pretty nice that is considering it a government institute it is ok. Also, the hospital timings are good and the basic amenities like water and hygiene is ok and the mess is run Cooperative and we can decide the menu and if you have any complaint can also be dealt with

Course Curriculum Overview:

New nmc curriculum is quite clinical based and practical also the practicals in different subjects help us to grab the concept even more. Syllabus is quite vast and difficult to cover. Exam frequency is very high evil give pcts after every topic completion and two internals and two centres and one professional exam is also there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.

The admission is done purely on the basis of your NEET score. A cutoff is declared after the NEET results are out. A merit list is taken out. Upto 3 merit lists are taken out on regular intervals of 2-3 days during the admission and counseling process. I scored 474 in neet and got admitted to this college.

PGIMS Rohtak as everyone know is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It is also one of the reputed colleges. It was given an A+ grade. It provides quality education to the students who thought it might be lacking a bit in infrastructure and extracurricular activities.
