VGEC CHANDKHEDA is overall a very good college. The mode of admission in VGEC is acpc counselling. You can apply in acpc counselling and through choice filling, you can get admission in VGEC. The merit of acpc counselling is made by 60% of board percentile and 40% of gujcet percentile.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty of VGEC is well educated and helpful. The teaching method is also good for all professors. In one division there are 150 students and In one subdivision there are 30 students. The final exam is conducted by GTU and the sem exam is conducted by college and level of the exam is not so easy and not so hard level is moderate level.
Internships Opportunities
The vgec Chandkheda provides an internship opportunity for students. The TCS, IBM, and Infosys offered internships to students. And Students do tasks or work like app development, web development, database management, etc.
Placement Experience
The placement in vgec is also very good. Approx 90% of students are placed by on-campus placement. The highest package offered is 8 LPA and the average package is 3-5 LAP. The top recruiters of vgec are TCS, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TatvaSoft, Torrent Power, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees of college are 1500 per sem and hostel fees are 1260 per sem and the mess fess is not included in hostel fees. There is no scholarship provided by the college but the college accepts all scholarships of government like MYSY, Digital Gujarat, Namo Etab, etc.
Campus Life
In VGEC CHANDKHEDA campus life is very beautiful. There is no raging allowed at campus and all seniors are very helpful and good. There are many sports and tech feasts arranged in VGEC. The library is vgec is very big and a lot of useful books available in the library any time. The social club arranges in vgec by college and students like NCC, NSS, SCC.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is well maintained compared to other government colleges. The hostel provides a bed, a study table, and a chair in the room. In the hostel, one room was allocated by 3 students. The VGEC has two canteens. One is GTU Canteen and the second is Vgec Canteen. The quality of vgec is not good but the quality of food in GTU Canteen is good. The hostel registration is done in vgec's website and the hostel admission is on basis of acpc merit. If you don't get admission in the hostel so there are many pg and rooms on rent available near campus.
