JECRC Review

I am passed out from JECRC College, Jaipur (2020 Graduate) in Electrical Engineering. College Admission is done on the basis of JEE Advance Score and through direct admission. There are no criteria of minimum age but with a score above 70 out of 360, one can get the EE Branch easily.

I chose Electrical Engineering because I wanted to work in Embedded system Technology by which I can deal with hardware and software simultaneously. Students ratio - 40F : 60M. Faculty at the college level, They were good with the communication and had good knowledge w.r.t. relevant field. About Exams: There were 8 Semesters in the college duration. In each sem, exams have been conducted in 2 different processes (One at the college level and the other one is at the university level). At the college level 3 midterms were there. (Passing marks is 6 out of 10). At the college level assigned marks is 400 that including (Midterms*4 + Practical exam ). And at the university level for each member assigned marks is 600 (6 Subject = 100 * 6) from which 33% is complusory for passing marks. So at the end of the semester marks have been calculated on the basis of (Internal+ External) out of 1000 ( % percentage system). Exams Pattern: 4 Section (8 Questions complusory out of 16) , Moderate level

After one year of college, students get a chance to mentor their juniors and E-Cell is also there for providing Entrepreneurship opportunities among the students. After 3 years, Salesforce comes into the college campus for internship purposes on a paid basis. Students also can get internships off-campus.

Every year 1k+ students take admission to JECRC College campus. And students get eligible to sit in placements after 6th sem. Some of the names of companies are listed below : TCS , Capg, ATCS, Byju, Metacube Mostly in CS and IT, branch students get 100% placements and Including other branches 60 % hired by IT companies and in Gov sector.

Fees Structure: 77000 (Yearly Basis) nearly around 3 Lakh excluding hostel facilities. Security Deposit: 7500 Inr (One time) And Semester exam fee is 2500 for each semester. There is some quotas also there at the admission time for relaxation in fee structure.

A huge library is there In the JECRC college campus where one can find the books related to academics courses and daily new papers. Annual fest (Culture + Tech ) in JECRC, held in Feb every year. In campus there are lots of social clubs (Suhasani, Aashaye), 2 dance club and one E-cell and all the clubs and sports activities managed by students itself. In campus, there is a spiritual Cell also.
