OBC Category. There are no such age criteria. I got an admission offer and the time period to pay fees was quite less as it was the last round of results and I was informed priorly the acceptance fee was 72000.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculties are qualified from top B-Schools and have a greater depth and experience in the subjects and the teaching is mostly by the use of PowerPoint presentation and also through case study analysis. Exams were held periodically to test our understanding of the subject, with a higher difficulty level, which requires more preparation and proper understanding of concepts
Internships Opportunities
Major roles for summer internships were offered with Sales and Domain with 58.64% acquiring internships. The highest stipend was 2,50,000 with an average stipend of 62,063 was achieved in the year 2020-2022
Placement Experience
IIM Nagpur has achieved 100 percent placements for the 2018 - 2020 batch. With the highest Package- 19.20 LPA, Average CTC - 13.21. Some of the major recruiters were Deloitte, Bain & Company, L&T Infotech, Accenture, Byju's, Urban company etc.,
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of the college totally sums up to 13, 25,000 which is comparatively less than the other new IIM's. Financial assistance and scholarships are provided for students. eg: SNBS (Special need Based scholarships) for students' family income less than 5 lakhs. Job assistance is provided with a good placement committee as the 2019 batch has achieved 100% placements with a higher salary of 19 Lakhs and an average salary of 13 lakhs
Campus Life
The annual fest is named Zero mile fest usually conducted in Feb - Mar, but could not be conducted in 2020 & 2021 due to the Covid -19 scenario. IIM Nagpur has both academic and nonacademic clubs - Fitness( Finance club) , Marx - Marketing club, Predixion- The analytics club, Opex - The operation club, Eques - the strategizing and consulting club. The nonacademic clubs include - Toastmasters club, Nexus - The media connect club, E-cell - The entrepreneurship cell of IIM Nagpur, Ummeed - the community outreach club, Abhyudhaya- The cultural club , The sports club and the Cineastes - the Movie club.
Hostel Facilities
The meal quality is provided to be of good quality and also there is a committee Santript - The mess committee, which overlooks the quality of the food that is being provided. The room is said to be provided with basic needs and has a greater space.
Interview Experience
An interview was held. The questions revolved around the work experience mostly, where the questions like Job Role, experience, different situations faced during work were examined. Quant-related questions were also asked added with general questions like, to know about the location, family status, age etc.
