Internship opportunities

The admission process was very easy. They only saw the percentage of marks we obtained in our class twelth final examinations. After that they took an easy test of verbal and normal mathematics questions just to check the aptitude of student. The test comprised of 20 questions of 20 marks(1 mark for each question). On the basis of the marks obtained in test and highschool percentage, the students were allowed to opt for different branches. Also the senior professors of the college were present at the time of admissions so that they can help the parents if they were not sure which branch they should opt for. I applied for Uttaranchal University but didnt went there because i got admission in a college near my home. Proper counselling was also done so that students were not confused between the branches to opt for. After that proper question and answer round was there so that if students were having any doubt, they can clear that doubt by proper discussion.

I choosed Ece branch because there was a boom for this branch at that time Also i knew that ece students have both the ways to get a job that either they can get the job in their core field or they can get job through coding also. Faculty to student ratio is very good. All the faculties are very experienced and master in their own subjects.All the faculties are Mtech pass out. Some of them are completing their PHDs . They have good teaching style. They first make us understand the concept and after that they make us write down all the points in our notebook so that we do not face any issues during final examinations.Term exams were held after every 6 months .Between them there were CTs and PUTs so that students can prepare and brush up with their concepts.It was easy to pass the examinations as mostly questions were discussed in class itself.

Basically there are not many companies which provide internship. opportunities. Students have to find internship opportunities on their own. But some companies hore students and they provide training for 6 months which can be counted under internship. They provide stipend of around Rs 10000 for 6 months and after that they provide their normal packages on which they have hired the students. They provide you opportunities to work on the projects of the company. You just have to learn all those things carefully. After 6 months of training you get a lot of things to learn and you become capable to work on the projects of the company individually.

Although packages are not at higher end but you get equal opportunities to sit for the companies. From 6th semister itself students become eligible for placements.There are a lot of companies like Tcs ,infosys, FIS Global, Drishtisoft, Naggaro, Rose IT solutions, Idemia etc for which students sit for placement. Highest package goes upto 6lpa and average package is around 3 lpa. About 65% of students are placed from college. I myself is working as an engineer in an MNc.

Fees structure is OK. First year you have to pay around 117000 but upto last year it comes below 100000. There is scolarship for all the students who comes from financial weaker background but the student should be of UP only (Domicile of UP is required). Actually i got job from college placement itself but i didnt took it because i was having furthur plans of higher studies . The college provides lots of opportunities for oncampus placements as well as offcampus placements. You just need to grab your opportunity.

Life of campus ir really cool. Annual and tech fest are conducted usually in the month of February. Students gets opportunities to showcase their talent. Also library is very good. You can issue any book at any time.You also get equal opportunities to participate in sports programs. They are conducted at intercollege level as well as university level.I myself was a part of college cricket team.You get a really cool infrastructure.
