Remarks

After getting results we have gone to college for admission. It was easy. Nowadays its electronically admission. I have not applied for any quota but there are diff quotas in college. 75% is the minimum mark for admission. Age must be 18+

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I like accounts and practical subjects. In BCom, it's easy and less time-consuming. Student ratio 100% boys are there of all castes. In second ucc college, 70% boys 30% girls are there.

Placement Experience

After completing last year students get placement. TCS and many other small companies arrived for campus interviews. 2-4 lakhs are packages offered by the company. 75% of students got placement easily in Kolkata. I am pursuing ca course

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very low compared to other colleges. It's just 4k to 5k per year for 3 years. After completing the course those who top the BCom exam they get jobs from campus interviews. Rest any accountancy firms will hire them.

Campus Life

Umang, xavotsav these are some events I have gone but it's not conducted by the college. Books and journals are available at any time in the library. The classroom has only a bench light and fan. The teacher teaches on the blackboard. Literally, no sports took place in the year but the college has a games room.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
