Khalsa College Patiala is a prestigious college affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala. I enrolled here in the BA course of 3 years. I had a good experience in college. The staff of the college is very much cooperative. The admission process of college is very simple, I.e any student who has cleared 12th and has attained the age of 18 years can apply. I did not avail any quota for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose BA course as I am a UPSC aspirant and I opted for the subjects which helped me in achieving my goal. The college staff is highly educated and cooperative with students. The college make students involved in various activities which is helpful for overall development of students. The college conducts it's exams (for BA) after every 5 months of a semester. Hence, there are 6 semesters in 3 years of the BA course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the college is 25000 approx Per year. The college does not provide any internship or job placement opportunities. But it organizes various activities or seminars which help students in cracking a job.
Campus Life
The college conducts an annual/youth fest in the month of October. The college has a huge library with thousands of books available there. The college has neat and clean classrooms. The college has a very huge playground and special sports department to insist students take part in sports activities.
