Ak's review on BMCC

It is one of the top college for commerce, faculty is best and highly qualified.The placements provided by the college to capable students are good. Last year the highest package give was near about 7.02 lakh. The admission criteria is minimum 50% in 12th or diploma and entrance should be cracked. The cutoff for entrance is according to category. I prefered this college as it has best crowd, best faculty and fees for 3 years undergraduate course is 1,63000 approx. Which is not very much as compared to other B-schools as it comes under Deccan education society. I used the website collegedunia itself to find this college and i am thankful for that always as i got such a reputed college because of them.

I choose Bba ib as when i saw the subjects they were all related to practical life which we use in daily routine. Subjects like personality development, soft skills, international language (french, german), information technology, logistics etc. In bba ib we have 80 students and the ratio of girl and boy is equal. The faculty is highly qualified, NET/SET cleared, some are done with phd and high experience in teaching field. The whole course consists of 6 semester, 2 sem each year. The college is autonomous so the learning material is provided by faculty itself. passing is exam is upto you if yoy study it is easy if you don't then you can hardly qualify. Also attendance should be 75%. that is mandatory.

I have worked as a social media intern in ion charging solutions which i got from the college itself.I have handled all the social media pages of the startup,and brought investors through social media itself.The duration was of 3 month and stipend 3000/- but the head asked me to continue it for more few month as he liked the way i work for his startup.

The placements are provided by the college placement cell, companies like detolloite, oracle, wipro, infosys, and many come every year and pick up our student. Last year nearby 17 student got place with minimim package of 3 lakh and the highest package of 7.02 lakh. Due to pandemic not many students were placed.

Scholarships given by government are given to students, i am not so much aware of it, as i belong to open category my fees for first year was 55,000, second year it was 52,000 and third year 52,000. I have got the internship from the college which was for 3 months and received the stipend of 3000/-

The infrastructure is old as it is established since 1943 but still lovely campus, the ground is very big and the college has been awarded for its greenery, it is very much natural. The events keep happening throughout the whole course. Troika is one of the biggest fest of bmcc, then comes astitva, emerge, sarpotdar karandak, etc The events/fest are arranged by student of different department. The college has library, which is very well built and has lots of books available. Also we have gymkhana in campus where students are part of it and play inter college or national level sport. many extra cirricular activities are held, projects are given, visits to company are done. We missed the campus life as it was lockdown and we did everything online.

I have opted for pg which was near to my college in gokhalenagar,sb road.I used to take tiffin from mess and it was kind off good.Their for pg i paid brokerage 6000,deposit 10,000 and monthly rate 5000.The locality was good as it was all covered by college students

Online entrance exam was taken for the admission,which was for 80 marks,2 mark for each question.If you belong to open category you should score 74+ as cutoff goes high.And scoring in this exam is very important if you dont want to loose the college
