Ranking of college iit Kanpur is 4th and distance between Jaipur and Kanpur is not much and I am interested in mechanical engineering background. Admission process is through NTA jee main advanced exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are many faculty members aprox 500 and per year approximately 1100 students came here for there undergraduates and total of approximately 5000 students ( including Mtech, phd pg ms.) And total approx 8000-9000 people live in college campus.
Placement Experience
In 4 th year (7 th semester ) students are eligible for placement drive.150-200 companies for placement.In iitk max package is approx 1.5 crore.Approx 80-90 percentage students get placement but in covid pandemic it is bacome low approx 50 percentage.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure in basis of category and financial condition of a student.I don't know but some income criteria for waiver in tution fee. And many scholarship are there based on your performance and income criteriaBut I think st sc tution fees is 0.
Campus Life
So amazing. There are everything that need for person as a student. There are many sports facilities ( cricket , hockey, badminton, tennis, table tennis, vollyball.)Like in iit Kanpur antragani is college festival and udgosh is sports event .
Hostel Facilities
In iit Kanpur for new students hall 13 reserved it is so amazing , new building so facilated. And then in second year your hostel wiil be changed.Mess menu is you say good but canteen is alternative for many students.Hostels are affordable.
Admission
No there is no interview .For BTech in IITs you need to clear jee advanced exam. And for Mtech gate is compulsory exams there is no interview in selecting criteria.
