Remarks
It's past records of brilliance and excellence. Also, its location in the capital of C.G. I was also highly fascinated by the tag of NITRR being a college of national importance. Further, I was enthusiastic about the infrastructure of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently studying Electrical Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Raipur. Currently, I am in my 5th semester. Till now, I have found that the faculties at NITRR are highly-qualified, highly-experienced and cooperative. Especially, the faculties that I have met in my department are passed outs from IIT and other great Engineering colleges.
Internships Opportunities
No, I haven't opted for any internship as of now.
Placement Experience
They are the best in the Central India as we have very well planned mechanism to execute the placement session in our college. Also, we have companies coming from diversified fields. Our students keep excelling in different fields. Also, we have many enthusiastic learners who not only crack CAT and GATE but excel in them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is constructed semester wise. For the 1st year students, the semester fee is approximately 65 k. For students of rest of the year, the semester fee is approximately 62.5 k. Overall this results into Rs. 531400. Further, if the family income of a student is less than 5 Lakhs, then her/his semester fees is abated to 27 k per semester, which amounts into approximately 2 Lakhs 20 k for the whole course. Also, if the family income of any student is less than 1 lakh of rupees then her/his tution fees is abated to null. The, she/he only needs to pay just a nominal amount of 2-3 k per semester which compensates for subsidiary fees like library fees, security fees etc.For a student who belongs to SC/ST category, the fee structure of students with family income less than 1 Lakhs is followed. The hostel fees of students is approximately 35 k per annum. However, the hostels are closed as of now accounting to the COVID scenarios. This hostel fee includes both accommodation and meal charges.
Campus Life
The life at campus is awesome. The people here are very friendly and helpful in nature. There are many fests organized in college. Firstly, we have E-Summit (central India's largest entrepreneurial fest of the college) conducted in the month of August by E-Cell, NITRR. Following it, we have Aavartan (central India's largest technical fest of the college) conducted in the month of September and conducted by The Team Technocracy, NITRR. Following it, we have Samar (central India's largest sports fest of the college) conducted in the month of December and conducted by The Team Shaurya, NITRR. At last we have, Eclectika (central India's largest cultural and the largest fest of the college) conducted in the month of February conducted by The Team Sanskriti, NITRR. Along with all of these fests, we have DJ Nights, Shruti (the singing event) and many more such healthy events and interactions. Also, there are many branch-wise cultural and sports events. Thus, all these contributes in making the campus life of NITRR as brilliant.
Hostel Facilities
No, I haven't opted for hostel as I had a relative living in Raipur and was comfortable to accommodate with them. However, I am cognizant of the fact that hostels of the National Institute of Technology, Raipur are well-lit, spacious, well-maintained and well-cleaned. But here the hostels aren't for everyone as the hostels are less in comparison to the count of students. Thus, hostels are alloted grade-wise to the students. Thus, many students are obligated to accommodate themselves in PGs and other alternatives.
Admission
No, I did not face any Group Discussion, Interview or Written Test for the admission. The admission was solely provided on the basis of All India Ranking obtained by the student in the Maims exam of Joint Entrance Examination 2019. Now also the college abide by the same procedure for admission.
