Review Of JIIT NOIDA

Good Aspect-Placements of college is above 95% of the total batch, campus life and facilities are good , faculties are well experienced and mostly are from IIT's/NIT's.Bad Aspect- Fees is little bit high. Fees of the college is equivalent to fees at IIT/NIT/DTU/NSUT.So fees is the only bad aspect of JIIT Noida

Course-Electronics and communication engineering has scope in both private sectors like in tech companies , core companies as well as in government sectors to like in PSU's , IES etc.Faculty- Faculty are well experienced and mostly are from IIT/NIT. Most of the teachers are Phd holders from prestigious colleges of India and abroad. Teachers are usually teaches the subjects from books written by good/famous authors of India and Abroad. Anyone can ask their doubts from teachers after the class. Teachers are very helpful.Student ratio- Boys are in more number than girls. According to me student ratio must be 70:30 that is 70 for boys and 30 for girls.Exams: Exams are usually held 3 times in a semester. Two are the internals and one is external. External exams held once in a semester usually in the month of May and December. Internals held in the gap of a month and twice in a semester.Exams are little bit hard though. specially externals . Core subject questions are asked from GATE past year questions and coding questions are asked from product based companies interview questions. So in order to pass an exam a student must have knowledge about the subjects in depth.

Internships can be opted by a student through Internshala.There are few Internships by top MNC's like DE Shaw etc .For this a student must sit for a interview and a written test. Written test comparises of aptitude and The role is generally front end developer for the companies. Stipend offered is from 10k to 100k depends upon companies and role.Since I'm in 2nd year I do not know beyond that.

Placements of JIIT is superior of all. Students after completing their 6th semester become eligible to sit for placements. Student must posses minimum 6.5 CGPA to be eligible for placements. This year almost 144 companies visited for placements. Companies are hiring for different roles. Companies like Infosys , Capgamini, cognizant , TCS , ZS associates, Deloitte, HCL , Wipro , Amazon, Flipkart, linkedin, EY , Goldman Sachs, microsoft , samsung , ola , nagarro, DE shaw ,American express, paytm , yamaha etc.Total number of offers are 1327.Highes package offered was 43.17 lakhs by Adobe and average placement is 7.5 lakhs.Total 98% of students get selected who sit for placements.Placements are done various profiles like coding , business analysts, market research etc.My plans is to sit for placements after my 3rd year.

Total fees of the college is around 926000 that is almost 110000 per semester. Fee hike is only in development fees that around 20000-30000 per semester. Scholarship is offered only by the state government not by the college. For financial assistance one can take education loan by various banks present inside the campus itself. Since I'm in 2nd year so I haven't sit for placements yet.

Campus life at Jaypee institute of information technology(JIIT) Noida is awesome.Campus has a lot of facilities like there are three food courts ,big size swimming pool , a big auditorium etc.All Classrooms and labs are air conditioned with good visibility of teachers. Classrooms are fitted with projectors for visual understanding.Campus has integrated basketball and badminton courts. College has indoor games too, like table tennis, snooker, gym etc. College has various hubs for coding, electronics, biotech students. Like IEEE for coding CICE for electronics etc.Students here have a competitive attitude and they are mainly focusing on coding.Our annual fest name is Impressions and tech fest name is converge. Impressions usually held in the last week of February and tech fest in December.Library of JIIT Noida is huge , with up to date books. Students get all their required books which they need, no one has purchased a single books from outside.

Hostels at JIIT Noida has a lot of facilities. All the room here are air conditioned. there is no choice for Non AC rooms. At each floor there are 4 washrooms . Rooms are provided with study table, bed, mattress and fan. Food quality is very good according to me it is 9/10. The menu of food repeats after every 3 days .Food here is 100 percent veg but also includes egg sometimes. Food also includes sweets after every meal .Cost of hostel and mess is 60000 in total for a semester that is food is included into it.One have to register for the hostel during the admissions.Though few students also take PG for rent and it cost almost 5500 per month. PG is located in the vicinity of the campus. Food is also included in them that is thrice a day (breakfast, lunch , dinner)

There is no Group discussion or personal interview or written ability test conducted for the admission. This was not compulsory for admissions but yes there is a small test of English ability conducted.
