Course curriculum is based on the official syllabi of IIT Kharagpur, and mentors from Kgp frequently visit campus to review content. The learning environment is practical and application based. The faculty happens to be old and experienced and most professors are MSc and PHd's from various IITs and reputed foreign institutions like University of Michigan etc. The batch size is a perfect fit of 30 students so as to give individual attention to each student. The examination were taken online for the 2020-2021 term due to corona. The examination were timely and means and methods like using the Online proctored method were used to prevent students from using unfair means. The difficulty level of the question paper happens to be balanced with few questions easy and some difficult to crack marking is done fairly and no ques was out of syllabi.

Students become Eligible for placements from third year onwards while there is no minimum eligibility criteria for summer internship placements in the college. Unfortunately being the part of corona batch (admission taken in 2020), I haven't tasted the nectar of college life as college has not yet re-opened. But still I would still comment the college life of jaypee to beautiful and happening (as described by seniors). The college has great infrastructure with a lot of modern facilities like swimming, gymnasium, dedicated courts for badminton, TT, basketball. Impressions, besides providing a platform for enterprising young talent also helps individuals in identifying their unique skill sets and preparing them to face the competitive environment by participating in various events. The festival also allows the students to relax and have fun with their peers and friends after a year of slogging through the college curriculum by being a witness to a celebrity performance which concludes the three day festival.

The administration of hostel is administered by a faculty member for boys hostel and girls hostel respectively as the Hostel Wardens. The overall charge of student discipline and hostel administration vests in the Chief Warden. All the hostel rooms are provided with LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity with 24 hours internet through the main server of the academic block. Reading rooms and additional sports facilities like table-tennis rooms, chess and carom rooms. The hostel is also connected with outdoor sports centers for lawn-tennis, basket-ball, volley-ball and badminton. The hostels are equipped with generators in order to provide 24 hour electricity supply, water heaters, water freezer etc. The college offers 2 mess for meals for students for the hostelers. The meal quality is decent and the dishes offered in a week are a good mix of some key favorites of students (chhole bhature, pav bhaji, paneer etc.) with healthy dishes like sprouts et,c. overall a balanced diet is given to students. Yet not too much should be expected from Mess food.The fees for hostel is INR 124000 (which happens to be quite affordable as compared to other private engineering colleges)

No, we did not had to face any kind of entrance test, interview or any GD (group discussion) before & for the entrance examination. The admission is solely based on merit ( rank and percentile of Joint Entrance Examination) and scores of board examination (10+2).Candidate has to score a minimum aggregate of 60% overall to be eligible for admission process. Students are given choice to either fill their application from either of the two application process ( through JEE or Board), after which they will be provided with two application numbers and nearing the end of the counseling the better one will be chosen to take further in account the stream upgradation process.
